UniNE teams up with other LEADS partners and external partners to organise the 4th International Workshop on Cloud Data and Platforms (CloudDP 2014), co-located with ACM EuroSys 2014 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on April 13, 2014. It will be the fourth in a series of workshops that bring together researches interested in cloud-based platforms for high-velocity, high-throughput, big data processing. EuroSys 2014 is a premier forum for discussing issues of systems software research and development.
The focus of CloudDP is on research work that spans the areas of interest of the LEADS project: data management, large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructures. CloudDP aims to provide a forum for exchange, for researchers from both domains as only the combination of new data management algorithms and fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems can provide a solution able to cope with the contemporary big data processing challenges.
