The IT organization of the adidas Group is a globally operating corporate function. Worldwide, a total of 1,000 IT experts cooperate closely with all brands and functions of the company. The goal is to provide consumers and employees with a 'digital ecosystem' in order to remain in constant dialogue with consumers and enable sustainable growth of the adidas Group. Currently, information technology within the adidas Group is undergoing a paradigm change: IT is increasingly developing away from being an internal process supporter and into a strategic instrument with direct contact to consumers.
Key personnel
Jacques Ohannessian is leading the Consumer Analytics team for the adidas Group in Herzogenaurach, Germany. His role is to provide actionable insights on the digital consumer and his interactions with brand adidas. He holds an engineering degree from INSA Lyon and a MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management. He worked previously in Technology (France Telecom, IBM) and Sport (International Basketball Federation), continuously focusing on the digital transformation of business.
Paweł Skorupiński is software engineer at adidas Group in Herzogenaurach, Germany. In his work he focuses on developing tools using Big Data and technologies around it to better understand consumer. He has finished his B.Sc. in Internet Engineering at Wrocław University of Technology and then M.Sc. in Distributed Systems Engineering at Technische Universität Dresden. During studies he had opportunities to work for companies like IBM and Insert SA, as well as for academic institutions like Laboratório de Sistemas Distribuídos and Technische Universität Dresden. Paweł's main scientific interest lies in applying advanced technologies in creation of collective intelligence.
